The Watch Here we have a 2021 TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Green Limited of 500 pieces, paying tribute to their 1963 Heuer model; the 39mm polished stainless steel case curves over your wrist with angled tapered flat-ended lugs, a lug-to-length of 47mm and a case thickness of 14mm ensuring a comfortable fit. Down the right side, we have the piston-style chronograph pushers and a signed crown in the centre. A stepped smooth bezel holds a glass-box sapphire crystal above an attractive blue-green “Teal” dial; a green 60-minute scale chapter ring surrounds applied steel facet baton indexes mark the hours; at 3 o’clock, a 30-minute register; at 6 o’clock, a continuous seconds register and finally at 9 o’clock a 12-hour register, each slightly recessed and precisely executed with a white stick hand. Slender sword hands filled with lume are complemented by a tapered chronograph hand; at 12 o’clock, we have the Carrera Heuer motif completing this vintage-inspired re-edition. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with the details of the watch engraved into it, inside an Automatic TAG Heuer Cal. 02, 33 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour. This distinctive column-wheel movement has a skeletonised rotor and is based on their original CH80 / 1969 plans comprising 168 components. It comes paired with its 19mm black Tag Heuer leather strap with a signed “Heuer'' folded clasp, plus an additional 19mm strap in the box. The watch comes with its Tag Heuer presentation box, travel case, and paperwork.
Personal Note At this time this goes on the website I have both this and the limited edition red dial in stock, two you hardly ever see and to have both at this same time is a real treat. This 'Green' dial is incredibly dynamic on and off the wrist, in certain lights shining a deep shade of green and in other lights a more subtle teal, it really is a dial you won't get bored with. Limited to just 500 pieces total, like the red dial, this isn't one you are likely to see out in the wild and if you do it will no doubt be a conversation starter. I would not hesitate to add this to your collection today and if both this and the red are still available, book an appointment to see them both in the metal!
