However, this older ETA powered model comes from an even smaller batch of 75. It was also consigned by the original owner, who stated that while the newer Black Bay 58 version was offered to anyone working in the program at the time of the Platinum Jubilee, this one was only made available to Close Protection Bodyguards, who he was one of. Indeed, the consignor has worked closely and in person with both the current King, Charles III, and the late Queen Elizabeth II, for which he was awarded the present watch. Offered in remarkable unworn condition, this lot represents the commemoration of direct efforts and missions to protect the most senior members of the British Royal family, and comes from a member of the Monarch’s most trusted protection group.
