This historic confrontation featured Spanish galleons and English ships clashing. Reports indicate that four English vessels, led by Commodore Charles Wager on the flagship "HMS Expedition," engaged in battle against the Spanish ship "San José," commanded by General Do Joseph de Santillon. Approximately 250 cannon shots were exchanged, with 64 hitting the "San José," leading to its sinking along with its treasures. Crafted using the cloisonné enameling technique, each dial is meticulously finished and requires over half a meter of fine gold wire, 26 baking processes, and more than 50 hours of labor to complete.
