The Military issue number is on the dial as well. Case: The silver case Swiss hallmarked and signed Ulysee Nardin with polished case back and engraved with Miltary markings H.S./|\ 2. The case is screwed on for extra protection from the damp climate of being at sea. Movement: A very high quality gilt finished lever movement fully signed Ulysee Nardin jewelled to the centre abor with superb micrometer regulation compensation balance and blued overcoil hairspring. Ulysee Nardin was amongst a handful of watch companies which was chosen by the British Royal Navy to supply watches to travel on their ships around the world.
