This watch earns it “Royal Blue” name from the blue colored sapphire-crystals used as the main-plate and bridges of the movement. The “Mystery” in the name refers to Tourbillon cage, which seemingly floats in place without any frontal support. In addition the 16 jewels are colored blue. Another amazing feat is the seemingly invisible winding system, when winding the watch a mysterious force seems to be setting the cogs and wheels in motion. This is accomplished through a large circular rack hidden beneath the bezel. Inner bezel set with 48 round diamond minute markers (weighing approximately 0.66 carats) and12 round sapphire 5 minute markers (weighing approximately 0.16 carats). Tourbillon – the watch compensates for differences in rate caused by a watch adopting different positions. The principle is to mount the balance and escapement in a rotating cage. The balance and escapement rotate around their common axis going through all positions to average out the errors. This watch is in mint condition, unfortunately we did not obtained original papers for this watch. It comes in Ulysse Nardin box with our 2 year warranty.
