This particular model, part of the "Super" range, embodies the durability and reliability associated with the Polerouter family while incorporating updates suited for active wearers. Founded in 1894 in Le Locle, Switzerland, Universal Genève established a reputation for innovation in horology. The brand is known for creating one of the first wristwatch chronographs and pioneering micro-rotor technology. By the mid-20th century, Universal Genève had gained a global reputation for producing elegant yet functional watches, including the Polerouter line, which became an iconic part of its history. This Polerouter Super has a stainless steel case, measuring 35mm in diameter excluding the crown. The case has a screw-down case back, enhancing its structural integrity. The watch plexiglass crystal a material in a good condition, it shows some small traces of time. The case shows normal traces of use and is in an original, unpolished, condition. At the heart of this watch is the Universal Genève Caliber 69, a self-winding movement with a micro-rotor design.
