A Rare 18ct Yellow Gold Keyless Lever Open Face Minute Repeater Pocket Watch C1930. Dial: The white enamel dial signed Vacheron Constantin Geneve with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock. The original gilt metal Breguet moon hands with a gilt metal seconds hand. Case: The 18ct yellow gold case with plain back. The repeater slide at the side of the case. The inner case back is fully signed Vacheron & Constantin with all the cases Swiss hallmarked and numbered. Movement: The superb nickel finished highly jewelled movement with micrometer regulation, Breguet overcoil hairspring and compensated balance. The hammers and gongs are visible striking the hours, quarters and minutes clearly. The movement is not signed but numbered. The same number is under the dial as is the case number. This is a very fine example of Vacheron & Constantin's excellent craftsmanship in making such a fine minute repeating pocket watch. The timepiece comes with an Extract from the Archives from Vacheron & Constantin, confirming the year of manufacture as 1930.
