An early “Historique” by Vacheron Constantin this interesting “turtle” like case from the late 1990s is very dressy and elegant while having a masculine presence on the wrist. The 18k gold case measuring 33 x 37mm is in overall fine conditions with thick and even lugs, well retained hallmarks and expected signs of wear. The original and attractive beaded capped crown with Maltese cross is in good conditions. The champagne color dial is in pleasing conditions with well preserved painted roman numerals along with very attractive curved logo signature. The original leaf shaped hand set has oxidized to some patina. The manual wind VC movement is just serviced and running well. On beautiful green calf leather strap and original 18k gold VC Cross buckle. A fine watch indeed!
