Vacheron & Constantin 14K Gold Open Face Pocket Watch and 14K Gold Chain

Provenance: old private collection, Pittsburgh, PA, by descend in the family to the current owner, whose grandfather Isadore Fred "Frei" Freiberger was Chairman of The Board of The Cleveland Plain Dealer and The Cleveland Trust Co., which later became The Key Bank. American Waltham 14K yellow gold pocket watch case, a 25 year award watch presented in 1926; white enamel dial with stylized Arabic numerals for all chapters except six, the location of the sunken subsidiary dial. All minute hash marks are on as continuous circle segment at the dial's edge, bold at chapters. Blued Breguet type minute/hour and sub dial hand. A stem set, 21 jewel eight adjustment, manual wind brushed finished Vacheron movement. American Waltham 14K case, hand engraved dedication on dust cover for Isadore F. Freiberger for 25 years of Loyal and Efficient Service 1901-1926 (who was Chairman of The Board of The Cleveland Trust Co.). Monogrammed. This is a marriage, if factory made it would have an 18K case. Gross weight with movement is 64.5 grams. Offered with 14-½" vest pocket 14k yellow gold chain, weighs 11.2 gram. 45 mm case
