This model features a somewhat uncommon dial type as the vast majority is set with en enamel dial. The lovely mat golden colored dial works well together with the blued steel ‘open tipped moon hands’ and black Arabic hour indication. Superb condition with a perfectly legible signature in old style font. Encased in a slim (9.9mm thick) classic 14-carat yellow gold savonette case, this watch’s covers are imprinted with the same serial number as the movement: 88862. Both lids remain unadorned, free from personal engravings or monograms. The movement’s intricacy reflects the well-known quality of A Lange & Söhne, highlighting meticulous craftsmanship. Notable details such as the blued steel screws and swan neck regulator add a fine touch to the finishing.
