Featuring a contemporary 40mm case in steel, with gorgeous matte black dial with inner tachy scale, a Regatta timer on the chrono and minute counter, and finished off with the coolest of lollipop chrono hands. The cherry on the icing on the cake is the burgundy bezel, creating a lovely contrast with the matte black dial. Powered by the Landeron Cal.248 manual wind movement, it's a vintage watch for connoisseurs, but also a very wearable piece for those who just love the look given its very contemporary sizing. A perfect vintage chrono. This particular example dates from 1968, and presents in excellent vintage condition. The matte black dial shows no imperfections that we can see, it's in spectacular condition. The hands are in wonderful condition, showing full tritium with some degradation visible under a loupe. Lights up and falls off consistently with the dial under UV. The case is very strong, with clear lines. Shows marks consistent with its age. The bezel is in wonderful condition, remaining a deep burgundy. Plexi shows some scuffs and scratches, most prevalent near 1. Comes mounted to a Tropic-style rubbery strap, which compliments it perfectly. Service history is unknown. Keeping COSC tme at 300 degrees of amplitude. Chrono operates as it should, and resets to zero. Movement is very clean. Comes with the original box and papers, making this a very rare find, especially in this condition. Not sure you'll find a better one.
