A vintage LeCoultre Galaxy watch in 18k white gold, crafted during the 1950s. The 32.5 mm case houses delicate and slightly angular lugs and a hand wound movement. Its highlighted feature is the silvered sunburst dial containing diamond hour indices and hands, with a lovely faceted stem. The mystery behind this dial is in diamond hands floating while being wound, they do not appear to be visibly connected to the movement. Fitted with a black lizard strap and a new crystal has been installed. This lovely vintage LeCoultre is in fine condition, keeps good time, suiting most occasions. Small nicks present, and small spots on dial. Possibly replaced crown. 10 mm thick case. LeCoultre cal. K480/CW, 17 jewels hand wound movement. Acrylic crystal. Movement# 1587099 Case# 780054 182 New non-LeCoultre black lizard strap. 18 mm lug width. Modeled on 5 3/4 inch wrist.
