Samson, London - George III English silver repoussé pair cased verge pocket watch, signed fusee movement, no. 12973, sprung three-arm balance, pierced and engraved balance bridge, silvered regulating dial and square baluster pillars, enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer arcaded Arabic minute numerals, fancy gilt pierced hands, original numbered plain inner case, the repousse outer case depicting figures emblematic of music within a scroll border, 48mm, Movement - currently functioning. Dial - clean condition. Glass - good. Hands - good. Case - inner case hallmarked indistinct, circa 1780, with inner repair to the stem, surface marks and a bright-cut engraved monogram, the outer case with a generally rubbed surface, some small pin holes present and not snapping closed totally - see images for full guidance.
