Dial: Ref. 9-8232, yellow gold (22-carat), engraved and enamelled, with black painted Arabic numerals on two graduated circle-segments, 0 to 60 for the minutes on the right side, 1 to 12 for the hours on the left side; the map showing the Old World, signed by Jean & Lucie Genbrugge, Broechem Castle, near Antwerp (Belgium), after a map (1587) of Gerardus Mercator (1512-1594); yellow gold geometrical hands in shape of a marine compass reminiscent of the one used by the famous Flemish cartographer and geographer.
