A continental silver repousse pair cased pocket watch, by Samson London, the circular white enamel dial centring on a lake land scene applied with Romans numerals and Arabic minutes with Louis XIV hands, approximate diameter 4cm, key wind gilt fusee verge escapement movement signed Samson London and numbered 5473, case with indistinct British hallmarks, outer silver case decorated with a scene of figures in Classical dress within a foliate scroll border, c.1780, case width 49mm
